Job description
You will be responsible for developing authentication and authorization functions in an enterprise SaaS environment.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement user account management and access control systems.
Main responsibilities:
- Build user management systems integrated with Auth0
- Develop access control for core platforms
- Design and implement API authentication/authorization for microservices (using OAuth2.0)
- Conduct architecture reviews related to authentication across various teams
You’ll join a cross-functional ID team responsible for designing authentication/authorization across multiple applications.
This is a bilingual, multicultural team with communication in both Japanese and English.
You’ll gain hands-on experience building scalable authentication architecture.

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in web app development, design, and operations
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Authentication infrastructure development
- Leading authentication/authorization with IDaaS
- Designing authorization systems for user/system access control
- Practical use of OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML2.0
- Fluent Japanese communication skills (equivalent to JLPT N2 or higher)
Nice to Have
- Up-to-date knowledge of OAuth2.0 and OpenID Connect
- Experience with RBAC, ABAC, or ReBAC access control
- Designing auth systems across multiple microservices
- Business-level English is a plus
