    LunaiWork’s recruitment process is designed to help candidates prepare stronger applications and feel more confident throughout their job search journey. The main steps are:

    1. Application receipt & initial screening

    We receive your application and review the information you provide to assess how well you match the position you applied for.

    2. CV optimization support

    In addition to manual review by our consultants, you can also use our smart support tools to scan, suggest improvements, and optimize your CV content, making it clearer and more professional before submission.

    3. Initial interview or pre-screening (when applicable)

    In some cases, we may arrange a brief call or initial interview to further evaluate your fit for the role.

    You can also use our interview preparation tools to practice common questions and improve how you present yourself.

    4. Interview training support

    Before meeting the employer, you can receive support from our consulting team or practice through our intelligent mock-interview tools to build confidence and refine your answers.

    5. Sharing your profile with employers

    If your profile matches, it will be sent — with your consent — to the hiring company or relevant partners for the specific position you selected.

    6. Interview with the employer

    If the employer considers you a good fit, they will contact you to invite you to an official interview.

    7. Receiving the hiring result

    After the interview, the employer will inform you of the result and, if applicable, share information about next steps (additional interviews, offer process, etc.).

  • What do I need to prepare to start using LunaiWork?

    Getting started with LunaiWork is very simple.

    1. Visit our official website.

    2. Select “Sign Up” and fill in the required information.

    3. Once registration is complete, you can use your personal account to manage your profile and search for jobs.

  • Do I have to pay any fees when applying for jobs?

    No. On LunaiWork, all basic features—such as creating your profile, submitting applications, optimizing your CV, practicing interviews, and tracking your application status—are completely free. Throughout the entire process, LunaiWork does not charge candidates any fees.

  • Do I need experience to apply for jobs?

    Not necessarily. LunaiWork offers both experienced-required positions and opportunities for candidates with little or no prior experience. Depending on your skills, background, and career goals, you can choose roles that best match your profile. The key is to provide clear and honest information so the system can recommend the most suitable positions for you.

  • Can I apply for jobs if my Japanese is not strong?

    Most positions on LunaiWork, especially those working directly with Japanese companies, require applicants to have Japanese proficiency at N2 or above to ensure smooth communication, understanding of instructions, and participation in internal meetings. For N3-level candidates, opportunities exist but are limited and typically only available for certain roles depending on the employer’s requirements.

  • What job fields does LunaiWork support and what services are provided?

    LunaiWork focuses approximately 80% on engineering-related roles such as IT, mechanical engineering, and electrical–electronics, while also supporting fields like hospitality, restaurant services, and construction. Candidates living abroad can still apply even if they are not currently in Japan. In addition to job placement, LunaiWork provides comprehensive support—including CV improvement, interview preparation, and direct employer matching—to help increase your chances of being selected and boost your confidence throughout the application process.

  • Will I receive notifications when there are suitable job openings?

    Yes. When you enable job notifications, the system will automatically send you suitable positions based on your profile, experience, and current Japanese level.

    1. Once notifications are turned on, the system will automatically alert you to high-matching job opportunities.

    2. You can also use the smart job-suggestion tools to quickly find roles that best fit your skills and career goals.

  • I haven’t received any response after applying. What should I do?

    You can follow these steps:

    1. Check your email inbox (including spam/junk)

    Make sure to review not only your main inbox but also the spam/junk folders, as employer responses may occasionally be filtered there.

    2. Review your “Application History”

    Log in to your account and check the “Application History” section to see the current status of each application.

    3. Contact support if the wait is too long

    If you feel the waiting time is too long or need to reconfirm any information, please contact our support team so we can check your case and provide further guidance.


  • Can I cancel my application after submitting it?

    Yes, you can cancel your application if it has not yet been received or processed by the employer. Please follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your account and check the application status in the “Application History.”

    2. If the application is still technically editable, send a support request to withdraw your application.

    3. If the application has already been forwarded to the employer, withdrawal depends on their policy. Contact the employer directly to request cancellation.

    LunaiWork can support technical handling but cannot retrieve data already shared with employers.
